WINNING!

Poof: Public says America's world leadership has tumbled to 40-year low | For the first time in nearly 40 years, a majority of Americans believe the United States is less important around the world
and that it should mind its own business, a stunning rejection of President Obama’s foreign policy just four years after he received the Nobel Prize. Worse: 70 percent said that the U.S. is respected less than in the past, almost matching the high reached under former President George W. Bush, whose foreign policy Obama pledged to reverse.

Your Say

Two points:
1. We shoudn't be the worlds policemen and we should indeed put our own citizens first. Stop taxing the shit out of our people and then giving it away overseas.
2. The American people were briefly understanding of the risk that terrorism and Islam presents to us. The are bored with it now and don't want to be proactive to protect us anymore. Fine! Keep our military strong, do what we can legally and constitutionally to keep us safe. Sooner or later the terrorists/Islamist will attack us again, probably bigger then 9/11 and then we will wake up from our boredom and realize they really do intend to destroy us and maybe then we will be ready to fight back. Our national memory is short and we are too busy with Survivor and Dancing With The Stars to bother ourselves with world affairs. So lets stay strong, stay ready and wait for the next Pearl Harbor since we are unwilling to take the steps that are necessary to rid ourselves and the world of this threat.
