"They Know"

Barbara Walters recently told Piers Morgan that she was disappointed in Barack Obama.
“We thought he was going to be the next messiah”, she said. Both host and guest were presumably crestfallen, though it is difficult to see why either was surprised, given Obama’s lack of a substantial track record. He self-admittedly failed at the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, wrote nothing either at the Harvard Law review or during his time as a law professor, voted “present” during his legislative career and even called himself a “blank screen” on which others — presumably he had Walters in mind — could project their fantasies.Belmont Club » Hitting the Snooze Button

As I was saying just the other day.... "THEY KNOW"

Your Say

I'm really astounded that they honestly bought into it. I mean, seriously, it wasn't that hard to see through the guy. And they really were in to him that much? I half thought it was just for show, all hype and fake cheering to excite the base.

And you know what? Voters will have learned nothing. Someone else will come around full of hope and promises, and it will all begin again.

+1 on Estoy Listo's comment. Doesn't matter if they are republicrats or democans, they will still think their candidate will care for them, change and make the country better.

You know what? I almost died for the ideals of this country some 30+ years ago and I am just flat out floored how this whole thing has turned out. Nothing but a total collapse and annihilation of at least 80% of the population is necessary to get back to where it needs to be. Saying I am appalled is a horrifying understatement.

Ya know, I'm startin' ta think these intelligensia people ain't as intelligent as we've been led to believe.

As for Estoy Listo's comment, if you read history you eventually realize that, bar the clothing and technology, we really haven't changed all them much since we were killing each other with rocks and pointed sticks. Also, a large percentage of the human race seem to be dumb as ditch water.

Remember; half of any given population is below average.

But more than half of any given population may be subpar.

But more than half of any given population may be subpar.

And that's a good thing only on the PGA Tour.
