Oh we're waiting, oh we're waiting / All year, all year / Waiting for someone to come out of somewhere

See it come along and
Don't know where it's from
Oh, yes you will find out

Well, it happens all the time
It's censored from our minds
You'll find out

Your Say

This sent me scrambling through my early Stones archives, my mental archives. Aftermath released in 1966 still stands up.

I saw them on their first 2 tours of the US, in 1964 at the ripe old age of 12, and 1965 when Keith was electrocuted on stage at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, bringing the concert to an abrupt halt. Tickets to the latter ran $2.75, $3.75, and $4.75! Those were the days that their albums and songs that charted were mostly copy tunes (The Rolling Stones, 12X5 and Out of Our Heads), and not original tunes. Their first album of original songs was Aftermath, one of my all-time favorites. But I do have so many Stones faves.
