Live That Fantasy!
by pointing out the deteriorating conditions for blacks in South Africa since the ANC has come to power, with skyrocketing levels of murder, rape and AIDS. (It goes without saying that pointing out the deteriorating conditions for whites is not going win any sympathy from liberal whites.) This is of course all true, but it misses the point. No one is listening. The man Mandela matters little. The reality of South Africa matters little. White progressives want the fantasy.

What's with the picture of Morgan Freeman? Yeah, I suppose he's a shoo-in for the role of Mandela on the doubtless soon-to-be-made biographical movie of the latter. Any guess as to how Hollywood will twist his life story?

Perhaps Hollyweird will make that movie. How many will see it and what's the take. Because they make it doesn't make it worth seeing.

Back in the day when he was ascending, back when the elites would not play Sun City, they floated the idea of renaming a section of Boston "Mandela". Somehow, It did not come to pass. I've lost track of a blog, done by a woman in present day SA, and from what I gather, it's completely insane. Once the tax-payers are completely gone, it can revert fully to Mugabeland.

They should rename Detroit to Mandela. Their national salute could be a closed fist extended briskly hitting a white chin in the knockout game. They could replace soccer with intraracial rape as their national sport.

Well put, GWTW. But, in keeping with reality the white chin should be attached to an old person, a woman, a child or someone defenseless. And don't forget to include drive by shooting as a sporting event.

In fairness, Mandela did apparently become a Christian while in prison and leave his former violent and racist life behind. He did win office in a very shady and apparently fixed election, but once in office did well and left rather than stay in power until death which he certainly could have.
