FIVE YEARS AGO TODAY… Al Gore Predicted the North Pole Will Be Ice Free in 5 Years

Your Say

Yes, but the failure of the North Pole to melt is only reality. It makes no sense in theory.

Al who?

Not to worry, the liberals will probably hatch a lucrative fear emergency of space aliens or asteroids next.

I share your skepticism of liberals, Denny, but actually, I'd support a thorough search for incoming space objects. If the Tunguska object had hit over the ocean or a more heavily populated region, it would be a lot easier for people to take the subject seriously.

Not if that biggie hit Washington, DC. That would be a cause for huge mirth.

One of those people told me that weather colder than usual is a part of global warming :)

bgarrett - That's correct. It's called NewNewSpeak. Better learn it.

Yet one more thing Bush stole from Algore. Yes, the arctic ice cap not completely melting away and vindicating ManBearPig, just HAS to be Bush's fault.
Too bad that Gore and those who believe Bush "stole" the election won't stop to think, if Gore had won his home state, he would have won the election without trying to resort to fraudulent selective recounts in Florida.
And, it's too bad that Gore and the Warmists refuse to accept reality and acknowledge that global warming and cooling have occurred many times in the past, and the most recent warming period paused or ended 15 years ago. Even the IPCC has finally admitted there has been no warming for the last 15 years.
