As the old saying goes, you get what you vote for.

So, dear friends, millennial voters have discovered that they have been played like suckers.
When they thought that they were receiving an education, they were being softened up; they had no defense against the siren song of demagogues who only want their votes. They voted for hope and change and they got despair and regression. They see the Obamafied future and they don’t see anything good coming to them. Had Enough Therapy?: A Great Awakening?

Your Say

I have been a hospital nurse for 30 years now and no one was denied medical care. It is a hoax.
Medical care will now be rationed and pills and procedures denied now that the FEDERAL government has inserted itself directly. Other than our "frequent flyers", we see patients and don't know what insurance they have or don't have. Why do cops have to be assigned duty at most emergency departments ? Because everyone comes'

When states and counties provide health care, there were county and church run hospitals, city run health clinics, free walk in clinics etc. Anyone and everyone was seen in the emergency department.Your provided for your city an county. You were a community. Think of all the existing programs: medicare if 62 +, medicaid if under 62, state children insurance, state high risk pools. Illegals and unisured are always seen. Check any emergency room logs since the 80's for hispanic surnames and the costs absorbed by counties. Most have no concern and no intention to pay. It is all a hoax for "fundamentally transforming America". Long waits in the emergency department won't be lessened when everyone has a RIGHT to healthcare. Paperwork won't be lessened when the IRS is enforcing that everyone have insurance by January 1, 2014. There won't be more doctors especially in neurology and obstetrics without tort reform.
Determining what hospitals and what doctors will be funded will sink elite hospitals like Mayo and Cleveland Clinics as well as the major cancer hospital in Houston, MD Anderson. They are currently not on the approved list.
It's not FAIR that some can have better healthcare, stable families, better homes, better education, ... the government will ensure fairness.

I'm appalled at how many people, folks I considered reasonably intelligent, fell for Obama's schtick. Most of them twice. For sure, he ran a brilliant marketing campaign, but we have all been exposed to Madison Avenue since childhood and none of us ever really went coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs. Throw in his background - or lack thereof - and it all becomes even more puzzling.

I'm not what you would call a worldly person, but I've seen this type throwing Three Card Monte in the park, or slightly out of breath on the street, trying to sell a rather nice leather jacket for 25 bucks. Personable and glib, to be sure, but you know this is something you ought not to buy. Obama is just the same guy in a better suit.
