The end of the Waffle House
The A&W drive-in across the street, the bus station one lot over, the pizza shop next door — one by one, all of them had been knocked down to make way for more apartments for college students. That one was 24 miles east of here, a brand new one opened a month prior 22 miles west of here. I designed the Waffle House on Fort Myers Beach, FL. It is waterproof to a height of 8'.
