The Beclowning of Barack Obama

Obamacare Schadenfreudarama: It feels pretty good to watch the whole thing fail. If you can’t take some joy, some modicum of relief and mirth, in the unprecedentedly spectacular beclowning of the president,
his administration, its enablers, and, to no small degree, liberalism itself, then you need to ask yourself why you’re following politics in the first place. Because, frankly, this has been one of the most enjoyable political moments of my lifetime. I wake up in the morning and rush to find my just-delivered newspaper with a joyful expectation of worsening news so intense, I feel like Morgan Freeman should be narrating my trek to the front lawn. Indeed, not since Dan Rather handcuffed himself to a fraudulent typewriter, hurled it into the abyss, and saw his career plummet like Ted Kennedy was behind the wheel have I enjoyed a story more.

Your Say

That kind of sums it up for me, too.

Bet ya ten bucks that by December its all about how great Obamacare is helping people in their hour of need and nothing about the crappy start and increased costs. They'll poll the NYT offices and MSNBC staffers and find that most people like it now that they've learned about how it works.

He has no honor.

He is well on his way to destroying us and "fundamentally transforming America".

John Boehner will screw up this opportunity as sure as the sun will come up tomorrow. He's been funding implementation for the last 3 years. If Boehner has to shoot every conservative East of the Mississippi, he will help Obama. Mark my words.

Some folks posting here might be borderline manic-depressive. Get a grip. Enjoy the moment.

Jim, when I first read your comment it made me smile, but now I am sad.
