"The beautiful untamable eagle doesn’t quite work as our national symbol anymore."

After having been diminished and weakened over the past five years,
perhaps America should consider adopting the dodo bird as our symbol: he’s extinct and so is the way of life we enjoyed in America from its founding to the election of Barack Hussein Obama. And so is the glorious image of a nation that stood for what was good in mankind and for opportunity and for freedom. - - “Updating America’s Symbols”

Your Say

The 3 times I have seen eagles in the wild they were eating roadkill.

This summer we were rewarded with 2 hen turkeys and their 7 babies every day in our yard. They are very observant and cunning. I was told the father agitates the gravel as soon as the copulation act is complete and never returns. He's a ghetto bird and should be the new more accurate symbol for america.

After having been diminished and weakened over the past five years...

If you think that America has only been diminished and weakened for the past five years you might be a low information voter.
It has been going on a hell of a lot longer than that.
