Napoleon's Advice to the GOP

a_fourwordsforyou.jpg

That would be this, or words to this effect: “Never interfere with an enemy when he’s in the process of destroying himself.”
Forget the Upton plan, or Mary Landrieu’s Hail Mary pass in the Senate. In the wake of President Obama’s Wizard of Oz press conference yesterday, at the end of which he pulled aside the curtain on himself: Don’t do something, just stand there. You didn’t vote for it, not once, not a single time, ever. - - Michael Walsh

Your Say

If you voted for Bush, who gave you John Roberts, the Patriot Act, the TSA, and expanded the NSA to read emails and listen to phone calls you voted for it.
If you voted for candidates such as John McCain and Mitt Romney, you voted for it.
The republicans are not on your side, the key to stopping government is to stop thinking you have friends there.

Yet, you know in your heart of hearts the GOP will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. There is no rational explanation for this, it's just what they do. It should be the simplest damn thing in the world for them to merely stand back and let the democrats eat every bite of the crap sandwich otherwise known as Obamacare.

As Michael Medved says, "don't just do something, stand there."

As I said to my date, "Don't just stand there, undo something."

As Napoleon said "Maybe going to Moscow over the Holidays was a bad idea."

I get what Walsh means and I try to follow the maxim: "never miss an opportunity to be quiet", but we need warriors like Ted Cruz.

We need vocal defenders of Western values.

Grace, DC is full of people that used to be warriors like Ted Cruz. Cruz will be *used to be* too. Something about DC changes people, brings out the criminal in them. Don't vote for people to rule you. Rule yourself.

Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of this blog.
It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's challenging to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and
visual appearance. I must say you've done a fantastic job with this.
Also, the blog loads super quick for me on
Chrome. Superb Blog!
