I’m no fan of Alec Baldwin

alec1.jpg

but firing a guy for swearing at someone after they threaten his family is fucking gay.
The paps surrounded his wife and child as they always do so he lost his temper and called one a “cocksucking faggot.” I’m pretty sure it’s legal in Texas to pull out a shotgun when your family is perceived to be in imminent danger. I don’t know about you but I’d rather be accused of blowing someone than have my head blown off. Alas, we live in the Northeast where everyone is expected to act like aristocrats even when they’re being attacked by savages. - - The Case for Vulgarity

Your Say

Wonder if Alec noticed it wasn't Bush's fault, but his own people who did him in.

I agree. Alec Baldwin is a douche but I don't have a problem with him flying off the handle on someone like that. Its unjust for someone to be fired for something they say in their private life in any case.

I imagine that any one uses the phrase c***s****** n*****, will be shot on sight.

Wait. Isn't this MSNBC? Hell, if they had really wanted to punish Baldwin, they would have kept him on.

I've always thought his Alecness was a smarmy prick. What he did was call out one of MSNBC's holy groups (gays). If he'd have called a crippled veteran a cocksucker, his bosses would have loved it. You'll note that the guy who launched the filthy rant about Palin is still on the job...

"I imagine that any one uses the phrase c***s****** n*****, will be shot on sight."

Only within earshot of 1600.

Okay, then if Alec Baldwin had any sense he would wear a video camera and record the behavior of the paparazzi, then post the unedited videos on a website. Much more effective that swearing.

But the fact is that Alec Baldwin treats all people like sh*t. If you aren't useful to him, and you are in his way, he will mistreat you in any way he wants, from verbal abuse to physical assault. He is a monster. And it is a sign of the moral depravity of Hollywood that he has been able to get away with his evil behavior for so many years.

Sure, he's a jerk, he's a self-absorbed, spoiled jackwagon like most of them in acting. No shock there, but here's the thing: it was okay for him to be this way until he said something about homosexuals.

I always thought that anyone who could deliver GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS' opening monologue ("Coffee's for CLOSERS!") as convincingly as he did, probably was a colossal a-hole in real life as well.

Why should we lift a finger for ANY liberal? Beat them over the head with the damn rulebook they created. When they collapse, tear out sufficient number of pages and stuff them down his throat. Never miss an opportunity to persecute any liberal for anything, real or imagined. They wouldn't miss an opportunity to destroy anyone you know, even if they have to create a fake incident. They put politics in everything. Well as someone once said: "politics ain't beanbag." I hope Baldwin chokes on it.

You think anyone anywhere will go easy on any non-liberal because someone went easy on them once? Keep smokin' that stuff, it's obviously pretty powerful. No Mercy For Liberals Ever.
