Your Say

OK, I'll bite: What IS a "Bohemian" kick boxer?

Is that, like, a synonym for "ineffectual ass-clown?"

Bohemia is a historical country of Central Europe, occupying the western two-thirds of the traditional Czech lands.

The way he was dancing and flopping around you could tell he was going to go down.

Been waiting a long time to see the Energizer Bunny have his Ass handed to him.
Got to love it.

Thank you "Mr. Peabody," but what kick-boxing has to do with Bohemia is beyond me. I assume that maybe, in this case, the term is like (illegal) street-boxing or something.

I thought it meant he was from that area of the world.

All hat, no battle.

I don't usually laugh that hard at seeing someone punched in the face. Ooh Rah!

Yup...Substance still beats the hell out of style.

He's not doing kickboxing, Bohemian or otherwise. He's doing capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that developed from dancing. I did it for a while in college. It was a lot of fun, but it really is more of a dance than a martial art.

Dam funny.

Just like a Bohemian to bring his dancing shoes to a fist-fight.

(Okay - no one else was thinking that?)

Funny how the description of the clip has changed with repeated YouTube postings over the years. As John points out, it's capoeira, and in the earlier versions the guy was Bolivian, not Bohemian. Oh wait: did he get called a Bohemian because of his long hair?

You can beat the crap out of people with capoeira, but yeah, its mostly dance. It looks wonderful :)

That was tasty. He had his eye on the goofball's head right from the start. OODA looping.

"Spielen Nicht … Nur Töten" is on my family crest.

I keep watching this.

It's a martial art called capoeira. It's a fighting style out of Brazil that came from the African slaves developed out of a dance to help defend themselves. And it's also a clip from a movie called ( never back down). One of the extras in the movie was recording at the same time they were shooting. That's all this is. Bohemian????

I feel now I have a robust hold in excess of the subject matter after heading by means of the put up. I will surely come again for much more data. I have bookmark this post..

....that is a scene from the movie Never Back Down, shown at a different angle than what was in the feature release.

I am an ex commando and I fought the US so call marine a week after the fight in the clip. I owned the Marines and he gave up with 5 mins. I also fought the clown dancing around and he was a far better fighter. He actually lasted more than double the time than the Marine pussy.
