"The ongoing repudiation of Constitutional governance may yet trip an unseen wire."

The complication for an invading force is the changing makeup of the survivalist's warrior class.
No longer are they merely hunters and hikers with a liking for playing soldier, although the least among these can reliably hit a man-size target at up to 600 yards. Now they're as likely to be combat veterans and their proteges. The ordinary civilian has been changed too, by hardship and continuous war and nonstop emergencies. = = ol remus and the woodpile report

Your Say

Yes, standing armies of well equipped marksmen, donned in camo, stalking sly prey and coming home with a trophy kill several times each hunting season. It is now time to upgrade to 338 lapua and reach out to 1000 yards to touch.......

I am going to bet on the side that knows how to use its weapons.

As thrilling as the action at the Barry-cades might be, the real story this week is the EBT glitch. One day -- call it EBT-Day -- the cards are going to stop working for good. Picture that. Now watch the video of that Wal-Mart again, and imagine that same scene in every city in America.

35 million zombies will erupt into the streets on EBT-Day. Are you ready?

Fat man, you mean the solders and the government employees that have been trained and are buying all the ammo?

Shibes, I have thought of that scenario .

Shibes, if they don't get out into the street, one cannot enjoy the plinking.

I am always skeptical of the ominous warnings or predictions of civil war. We just don't have it in us any more as a people, there's not enough desperate love of liberty and fierce drive for independence. Everyone, left and right, has been raised and ingrained to first look to the government for solutions. We see problems as a crisis someone else needs to solve instead of an opportunity we can use to excel in.

Mr. Taylor:

The truest words Kris Kristofferson ever wrote: "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose". Only when White, Christian America is backed against the wall with nothing left to lose will we be free.

Kristofferson is a Rhodes Scholar, Oxford grad, and Army Ranger, so he knows what he's talking about.

Real liberals don't touch guns. Don't assume that Hussein can maintain the loyalty of the armed forces.
