He was a known killer and they knew he had guns, how did they get him? They asked him to come out of the house and he was arrested "without incident".
Some guy *suspected* of having some pot gets his house broken into at 3am, his dogs shot and his family terrorized, because the police have to think of their safety. Then the police realize they have the wrong house.
