"The GOP has to deal with the problem posed by a hostile media. It’s like trying to mount an invasion when the enemy has air superiority."

There are scores, if not hundreds of variables at play on the modern battlefield – but there is only one essential element: only one. You can still lose if you have it, but without it you simply do not have a chance. And that one variable is not just air superiority – the ability to fight and win in the skies over the battlespace – but air supremacy: you must own the skies. - - Bamboo Spears | Bill Whittle

Your Say

Conservatives spend more time and effort amplifying the stupid they heard in left-wing media than they spend advancing their own cause. They would rather correct the record than advance the football.

They pretend if they monitor left-wing media they will be better prepared to fight and win against lefties, except they will not fight. The lefties and the so-called moderates and independents that get 99% of their info and opinions from left-wing media are not seeing or hearing any of the corrections to the records. Lefties ignore ALL of human experience, 100 years of 20th Century history, 100 million dead bodies. They can certainly avoid our corrections housed in magnificent corners of the conservative ghetto.

You have to go into their world and wreak havoc. The whole point of demonizing us is to keep lefties from coming to us and tuning us out as soon as we are identified. Circumstance will not deposit enough reality to cause lefties to put 2 and 2 together. Waiting for some event to make things clear and help us will not happen. We can't surrender or explain or wait our way to victory.

The GOP is perfectly in tune with 40-55% of the Republican voters. They don't fight because we don't fight. The left calls us a bad name and we drop our arguments and spend our life on defense trying to disprove whatever charge the left has made.

We need more men like this: "I was elected to the Senate to represent the interests of Texans, not to make 99 new friends."

The "Free Shit Army" has the their reps in DC committed to getting them their freebees. We need ours to be dedicated to getting us back our freedoms, and to hell with what the establishment elites and the media think of it.

Of course the press is our enemy. That's not going to change. But the press is dying as well, their influence slips every year, and their power wanes. Just keep fighting the good fight.

People act like unless we have solid wins every day its a total waste and a write off. This has never been about winning tonight, the left didn't get us to this point by clever tricks and social media. They got to this point by generations of long slow fighting through the system.

I believe our nation and the world is facing one of those epochal shifts, a crash of Dark Ages proportions like the fall of the Roman Empire. We aren't going to turn that around with one more clever website or the GOP reaching out to minorities better or a better use of social media by Republican politicians. We're beyond fixes. This is about surviving the crash and rebuilding, if that can even be done.
