I once wrote a piece about a restaurant that opened in our little burg, and I thought it quite possible that the new owner was a former citizen of East Germany, possibly a Stasi agent. How economical of the Germans to have a word for what happened to his 'restaurant'.

I shall try to remember this word the next time a Stasi agent tries to open a German restaurant in our town again.
