“What do you think of a ‘boy band’ made up entirely of gay boys?” My first “thought” was — aren’t they all?
The thing that makes “boy bands” so creepy
is that they’re all contrived — nothing about them is true or natural, they lack both the soul and the swagger of Motown and they’re assembled like those little girls for a beauty pageant, as if Milli Vanilli had quintuplets.
