Really? Based on bitter experience, I would say that the mass murder of random innocents is the essence of the “teachings of Islam.” We have seen such mass murder over and over, more times than we can count. Does Islam have something to offer other than crazed, sadistic violence, committed to perpetuate the crudest forms of ignorance? If so, I haven’t seen it. Whether we talk about Africa (Nairobi), Asia (Peshawar) or any place else, the fruit of Islam appears to be the same.

@pst314: "Bint" means "daughter of" or girl in Arabic, just as "bin" means "son of" (but not boy, which is walid).
Churchill got Islam right in 1899. Islam does not have anything to offer beyond slavery, repression, and death. It legitimizes man's worst vices with the thin veneer of religion, and kills the soul with its demands for conformity and submission.
I've lived for many years in the Muslim world for my job, and I've seen this "religion" up close. At its core, it has no redeeming characteristics, no matter how much lipstick its apologists put on that pig.

waltj: I didn't know that (only that the Arabic 'bin' is synonymous with the Hebrew 'ben') but of course I was being sarcastic. One should never miss an opportunity to mock the Religion of Peace (TM).
