I left my last job because after 5 years of annual promotions and greater responsibilities, I was bringing home less every year from 2009 on. Insurance premium increases, commision changes, and rising taxes worked against me in direct proportion to my successes.

I decided to take a risk with a startup because I was tired of running faster in place. I believe the same underlying tension is driving the growth of the alt-right.
