Everyone at Burning Man, with hardly an exception, is highly altruistic toward African-Americans.

But, to within an epsilon, there are no African-Americans at Burning Man.
But wait, why is this wrong? ... Loved or not, they're still helped - right?.... Heck, for the last 50 years, one of the central purposes of American political life has been advancing the African-American community. And over the last four decades, what has happened to the African-American community? I'll tell you one thing - in every major city in America, there's a burnt-out feral ghetto which, 50-years ago, was a thriving black business district. On the other hand, there's a street in that ghetto named for Dr. King. So, there's that. And since we mentioned Mrs. Jellyby, what exactly has a century of telescopic philanthropy done for Africa? I'll tell you what its done. Its destroyed the fledgling, shaky starts of Blacks becoming part of America in the 60s and burned it to the ground. And in their rush to not be white, to not be American, and to distrust everything that would help, "black culture" in America has become a grotesque, horrid minstrel show. Blacks are becoming the caricature they were portrayed in the past, and deliberately running headlong into separate facilities on their own. Its one of the most hateful, horrific things the left has done in its immoral rush to power at all costs.

Spending other peoples' money; "Do as I say, not as I do"; NIMBY;

Most of the trouble in the world has been caused by folks who can't mind their own business. There is simply no room left for 'freedom from the tyranny of government' since city dwellers depend on it for food, power, water, transportation, protection, and welfare. Your right to live where you want, with companions of your choosing, under laws to which you agree, died in the eighteenth century. Only a miracle or a disaster could restore it.

All African-Americans should join "The Black NRA" because it is not racists when a liberal does it.

Burning man is a tribal conclave. You grow up, leave your parents, and join, maybe for a while, a tribe. And maybe two tribes, you try to straddle.

Eventually, of course, for most of us, the gods say "Time's up!". Here's your wife and kids, here's your mortgage, you're not getting any younger, and you've got things to do, time to get busy doing something.

Burning man is for those the gods haven't yet spoken to, or who have refused to hear it.

Small wonder then that it's an Anglo-only conclave. If I have explain why, you're not part of the tribe.

I'm a white guy, and the thought of spending Labor Day weekend (much less the preceding week) in even the northwest Nevada desert makes me wanna shout "Oh, hell no!"

I figured Burning Man was one of those cool in its own way things for the first few years, then every asshole and free spirit wanna-be showed up, took it over and ruined it.

Everything starts out great, and then too many people get involved.
