"WINNING!"

MSNBC Programs Lose Close to 50% of Viewers in One Year

The Rachel Maddow Show in August garnered all-time low ratings in total and demo viewers. She was down 43 percent and 47 percent respectively.

The Last Word also hit a low in total viewers losing 40 percent of that audience and 42 percent in the demo.

In the 8PM slot, Chris Hayes's All In dropped 48 percent of the total viewers The Ed Show had a year ago and 42 percent in the demo.

Your Say

This is what happens when you try to expand the Two Minutes Hate into 24 hours.

At this point I'm pretty sure the only people watching MSNBC are family members of staff and right-leaning commentators looking for red meat.

I'm hoping against hope that America is beginning to wake up. We'll see in 2014.

MSNBC is the 'news' equivalent of the VMA.

Though I like the fact the msnbc idiocy is not being viewed by many presently, I'm afraid it isn't all that great of news. My reasoning is that last year was a long election propaganda cycle where people tuned into that waste of airwaves as well as NPR CNN and the like. Now that "it's all over" many just tune out and forget everything (including the real history and events, who did or said what when) and go about their lives. Then after two to 3 years when the next election cycle starts they tune in again, having forgotten the last cycle and truths and get fed a new trough of BS from these fools.

My vote is with Dedwzyl. Remember people elected Jimma Carter after LBJ. They elected Clinton after Carter. They elected Obama after Clinton. There is no evidence voters learn from mistakes. The little old ladies in the GOP and the quasi-socialists in the DNC think "this time it's different" at every election. Your liberal friends will crawl over broken glass and take an alcohol shower to vote for the Alinsky-thesis-hiding marxsist Hillary. And every day during the campaign half of the GOP officials and voters will be explaining how Democrats won't go hard-Left after Obama. Our only hope for defeating Hillary will be grey man with irrelevant accomplishments and who knows a black guy or two. Or they will demand the GOP run a quasi-Democrat with a weight issue so we can capture undecided voters.

Not only do people not learn from the past they deny they make the same mistake over and over no matter how many times they make that mistake. At least some drug addicts sober up.

Similarly the voters voted for Reagan after Nixon then Bush.

They make the same error time after time because there is no other tool available for them to get what they want.

It never occurs to their infantile minds to simply stop playing the rigged game that steals their life.

Yes, and after turning over big chunks of airtime to Al Sharpton for the 50th anniversary of ML King's speech, I'm sure that MSBC's rating will tank even worse.
