"There’s plenty of money, it’s just the government doesn’t have it,”

Thus sayeth Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) Ellison continued, “
The government has a right, the government and the people of the United States have a right to run the programs of the United States. Health, welfare, housing – all these things.” The ‘Inclusive Prosperity Act’ would levy a sales tax on the trading of stocks, bonds and derivatives.

Your Say

In an apparent direct conflict of interest, 130 Republican and Democratic congressional members have invested in company stocks while making legislative decisions that impact those same companies.
Congress will probably be exempt from those taxes proposed by Ellison

One more time, a 100% tax of every single penny the richest 10% of the nation earned for a whole year would pay for a few weeks of the debt.

There isn't the money. There just isn't.

"There isn't the money. There just isn't."

When they can't find the money, they won't conclude that it's not there, they'll "know" that somebody is hiding it. And they'll just look harder--in other words, with guns. If people like Keith Ellison remain in power long enough, we all will become enemies of the people: saboteurs, wreckers, kulaks.
