Actually, Sharpton and what's-his-name her lawyer had their judgements paid by some leftie fat cat or other. Didn't show up as income, natch.
The good part is, she will be paying for the rest of her life - unless she takes Pagones up on his offer to forgive the debt if she publicly admits she lied.

Should the judgment be paid with interest and /or in terms of what 431,000 bought in 1987 ?

Rob, Sharpton's debt was paid for by a group of his supporters. According to the NY Times, ..."[t]he group, which was led by Percy E. Sutton, the former Manhattan borough president, included the lawyer Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. and Earl Graves Jr., the president of Black Enterprise magazine."
