Or you can download all those books yourself at Project Gutenberg.

I was going to mention Project Gutenberg in yesterday's Kafka post. The Trail by Kafka is hauntingly futuristic.

Gerard, thanks a lot for that link to photos at The Atlantic site. I love stuff like that. I appreciate that I can come here and be directed to all manner of historical and artistic records.

There was no reason to change Barbie's face, that was just petty on the part of the sculptor. The rest, yeah wierd proportions on that doll.

For the record, my wife used to rant about the dimensions on the original Barbie until one day I compared her dimensions to Barbie's. And, what do you know ... her proportions for chest, waste hips, legs and arm length were an exact match? Boy did she offload her public school liberal programming...and has been a sexy conservative ever since.

While she has proven to be imminently fertile, I still think she could use more meat on her bones. Too much meat, though, and she would become a fat, mean, pro-abortion liberal.

Love the classics of literature minus one letter! I came up with "Little Omen". I remember once reading a similar competition, only people were asked to CHANGE a single letter in the title of a famous book, song, play, etc. Can't remember the winner, but one of the runners up was "'Wein Kampf' - the inspiring story of Hitler's struggle with alcoholism."
