Your Say

And, it is butt ugly.

Yes, but of course. It is, after all, 1) Indian and 2) in Mumbai.

So the home is worth 1/21 of the owner's net value. How many American's can say that about their homes?

I'm trying to imagine that thing making code in California.

Like they say, money and taste don't necessarily go hand in hand.

Butt ugly? Maybe. Certainly utilitarian. Not tasteful ? Meh !

As this domicle is made fun of, consider where it is certainly not being built, nor will ever be built

Detroit.

Or any other American site of metrodysfunction and devolution.

Like I said once about Bill Gates' driveway: Geez, think of the jobs this thing is generating.

The place had such bad vibes the owner had to have in 50 "priest" to clean the spirituality up before the family could move in.

There are over 200 servants there every day. Servants are cheap in India.

India is where they used to build things like the Taj Mahal. Now they are so used to slums this is what we get - can't go with the British style of colonial buildings, that's oppressive and bad.

Posted by: Christopher Taylor at July 28, 2013 8:35 AM

It looks like someone piled bits and pieces of abandoned factories one on top of the other.

I wonder if the cleansing by 50 priests will keep the cockroaches out of it and, if not, will the inhabitants be allowed to kill them?

To be fair, it's probably easier for them to get land enough to build up than out. But really, can you imagine trying to get building permits for that thing anywhere in California, let alone the major cities? The guys at the building department would take one look at the blueprints and concept sketches and go "You've got to be freaking kidding me."

I hope there's never a quake, I can just imagine the pancake that would make :(
