Quote: “Most people are other people.

Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.” Unquote — Oscar Wilde

Your Say

There’s nothing worse than a pompous writer. But I repeat myself. Or apparently someone else.

Is that about ditto-heads?

Ditto heads don't write, they listen and repeat what only one man says, and they only wish they were him.

Wilde was an original, let's give him that, whose greatness could not rise above his narcissism.

I don't know if it was the actors, or the actual writing, but, the Southwest Shakespeare Company's performance of The Importance of Being Earnest, was the funniest play I have ever seen. Oscar Wilde had his issues, but, he understood human nature and could write it funny.
