Last Redhead in Detroit Is Not for Sale!

ahowdy.jpg

Howdy Doody Not For Sale In Detroit's Bankruptcy Howdy Doody One, worth by many estimates at least $1 million, is part of the DIA permanent collection, though it hasn't been displayed since 2009. The puppet sits in a warehouse. Since Detroit's broke, will it be the first thing to go? No, according to state-appointed emergency manager Kevyn Orr.

Your Say

Probably ought to sell that while its worth a million bucks. The last generation to even know who Howdy Doody is or care is dying.

There is more brain power in Howdy's wooden head than in the entire cast of ass holes from Obozo through the mayor of Detroit and down.

Not fair! It was Phineas Bluster boinking Howdy in his Dooty that gave him any brain power.

The 'people' of Detroit may think they own the contents of that museum, but they are only fooling themselves.

Museums are a nice way for the people who can afford fancy things to have fancy things without actually having to pay for all the storage and upkeep.

Letting the peasants sell them? And only to pay for nonsense like city 'services'?

How gauche.

They could secretly replace Howdy with Randy from the Pee Wee Herman show, no one would notice.

All they would have to do is pull Howdy out of the storage warehouse and plunk him down in the mayor's office and things would improve by at least 3000% immediately.

Who first made the connection between Howdy Doody and the Clinton women ?
Even Huma Abedin Weiner shares this genetic trait.
