Flag Bearers

Yesterday a friend and I tried to remember
any other country that was ever governed by an elite which hated everything the country stood for/everything that made it stand as a nation and wished to dismantle it from within. ....Even then, the political elites would be less worrisome if they weren’t supported by a crazy train of academics, artists, press, all of them indoctrinated in the same hatred of the land that allows them to exist. -- | According To Hoyt

Your Say

The British beat us to it. Their elite sold out to the Soviets in the thirties, if not earlier. Orwell wrote that the British intelligentsia couldn't bear anything British.

Wake me when it's time to beat the drum on the Village Green.

The people who told me I was crazy ten years ago when I predicted Civil War don't think I'm so crazy now.
