You Do Too Have Something To Hide

aaatwitterbriggs.jpg

No man is innocent in the eyes of his enemy. A zealous prosecutor can take the most harmless of circumstance
and through innuendo, contrivance, and brazen lie turn it into at least dark suspicion if not “proof” of heinous crime.... Could the IRS target groups which it perceives as its enemies? Could sealed divorce records be publicly aired? Could a zealous prosecutor who cares only of her public image and is a stranger to truth convict the innocent? Could a government libel and slander a man in order to bamboozle a judge into issuing a warrant against this man? -- William M. Briggs

Your Say

Well that is the problem isn't it? A cop told me once that you can't cross town without breaking a traffic law, that they use the laws as a lever to get people that they are concerned about or know are bad guys. In other words, they are selectively enforced based on the personal opinion of the cop.

Now, I trust my local cops more than I do government drones driven by rabid ideology but I still don't trust my local cop that much. They can nail anyone, anywhere, no matter who they are, for some violation or "civil rights" problem they come up with, if they want to. People who say "I don't have anything to hide, I haven't done anything wrong"... yes you have.

Remember that one of the Boston Marathon Bombing terrorists was the 5th terrorist to actually have attempted their attack AFTER questioning by authorities. Not only are the watchers no damn good at finding the dangerous, even when they find them and interrogate them, they turn them loose.
