"The ferocity of the counter-attack took us all by surprise."

Dennis had always assumed that the combined might of our armed federal agents and their SWAT Teams,
reinforced with local police and, if necessary, the National Guard or even the Army, could crush any conceivable right-wing reaction to his plan. But social network analysis couldn’t find snipers who were not part of any network. That’s when we began to hear of “The Militia of One.” In the end there were too many rifles, and too many willing shooters. A number that was constantly heard was twenty million. That was the number of Americans who supposedly went deer hunting every year, against less than 200,000 armed federal agents. --Bracken: What I Saw At The Coup

Your Say

It always comes down to numbers, that and willingness to stand.

Fight on your feet or live on your knees. I hate a fascist to death.

Although it is laughable to equate modern Americans with the Minutemen, the Feds aren't exactly the Waffen SS, either. Even when the Feds can surround their target with hundreds of agents, sometimes one or a few individuals can do pretty well. One recalls the Robert Matthews shootout, and the Branch Davidians.

What will FedGov do when there are hundreds of flareups all over the country? In the beginning, it will be a clown circus on both sides, but a few of the shooters will learn the idea of irregular warfare and pass it on to others. The Feds are now at the point where they are incapable of serious change. In any event, swanking around in paramilitary gear is cool, but that Federal check won't look so good if there is a real chance of eating a bullet.

And they know it already. There was an event in northern Idaho a couple weeks ago. The people are aware they are under attack. Now.
