Rudy Giuliani: Obama vs. Putin not fair fight

“Who would you give greater odds would catch a fugitive, a former KGB agent or a former community organizer? .... Obama doesn’t know how to play this game. This is why, I wasn’t kidding, this is an experienced manipulator of intelligence, of world power, against a man who has extremely not very well-developed views and no experience doing this,” Giuliani said. “This is the price we pay for voting for an inexperience president. … This is incompetence because we elected a president who was never prepared to be president, and he hasn’t figured the job out yet.” - Tal Kopan - POLITICO.com

Your Say

Obama kicks Putin's ass everyday in every way. Missle defense? who'se still putting it up around Russia? Putin backing out of Syria? This idea that Obama is incompetant and ' dumb-as-dirt' is just you being Keyser Söze'd. Keyser...errr, I mean Obama laughs at you.

Bobbye-- Better for you to just read blogs and not comment until you are more developed intellectually. AND, have been around the block at least once outside of the stroller.

It isn't a fair fight - and it should never be a fair fight. Not on the international stage, not at all; not if you are playing the game right.

This is like comparing Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson on foreign policy. TR knew how the game was played. WW knew how he wanted the game to be played. A big difference.

So Terry, where am I wrong? Maybe I am dumb. Enlighten me please with your wisdom.

I am always honored to find myself among those political beings whose discernment is not in the ideas but in the political DNA of those speaking. I love to read the judgments of those who are pure as the driven snow.

My first reaction on seeing pics of Vladimir Putin was that that guy has the eyes of a killer, and I don't mean preserved in a jar on his desk (although he may have that as well for all I know). He strikes me as a man for whom one should harbor a healthy respect in the realm of international affairs. Barack Obama? Eh.
