Your Say

Reminds me of the book and movie The Hotel from the mid 1960's set in New Orleans' French Quarter. The staff in the hotel restaurant thought it a grand joke to seat an old man, who came alone to the hotel yearly for vacation, at what they called the "ha-ha seat". It was by the kitchen, so it was impossible to enjoy a quiet meal with all the racket and traffic. Turned out the old man just loved the hotel, and bought it. He got a better table.

This picture conveys many things, but mostly that the proprietors aren't sensitive to their customers or think that no one would come just for their food. The floor vent by a dining table to experience air exchange is an added inconsideration. As a single dinner, I would like to have my back to the wall as I place my gun on the table.
