“Precision-guided” Missiles

Sipsey Street Irregulars: How the next civil war will be fought. Indeed, if you are looking for a weapon that is in fact "precision-guided"€ you need look no further than a bolt-action rifle

aimed at an identified target and wielded by someone who knows what to do with it.  This, in fact, defines the Three Percenters, who, being limited to rifles, know them very well and compete with each other to win competition matches somewhere in this country every weekend.  Can this be why Senator Dianne Feinstein -- a long-time advocate of "€œturn '€˜em in, Mr. and Mrs. America"€ -- is so obsessed with "sniper"€ rifles that can "puncture a limousine"€ or "€œtake down an aircraft"€?

Your Say

There are millions of Russian and Chinese made Mosin-Nagant rifles sold at gun stores everywhere. They range from $150-300 and are rugged and reliable. Their ammo is cheaper and available. There is little excuse for not having a weapon.

There's something infinitely just about shooting a fascist thug with a commie rifle. If you want a semi-auto search for SKS. If you want good ol' American whoop ass get a M-1 Garand from The Garand Guy. $1200 for the finest battle implement ever made. It beat the Nazis and and Japanese it must be good for something.

Impact Guns and Buds Gun Shop can hook you up.

I offer some words from Col Jeff Cooper, taken from his excellent book, The Art of the Rifle:

"Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys."

"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, because a citizenry armed with rifles cannot be tyrannized."

The first act to impose tyranny will be to arrest obvious opponents: NRA members, right-wing bloggers, and other easily-identified targets.
