What do you do when you disappear?

aakaidogquote.jpg
"I get in contact with a friend who contacts another friend and then show up in a car, I get into the car, change my appearance slightly, get in another car and then disappear off into the woods. I play drums and guitar. I head down to the beach and surf. I skateboard off hills into the countryside, and I walk around in the forest and identify new plants." --- New plants? --- "Well, new to me anyway. I actually practice herbology in terms of medicine and stuff. I don't have health insurance or a social security card or a birth certificate or a passport or anything. Which is the thing about being home free, when you submit to the authority of pieces of paper you lose your personal identity and the identity you find through nature." -- Catching Up with Kai, the Hatchet-Wielding Hitchhiker

Justice.

Talk about politically incorrect.

I appreciate the cops letting him go after killing
someone. This wouldn't happen everywhere.

What will he do as he ages ?

The man he hit with the hatchet did not die and was not even seriously wounded. He was tried.

Really, it isn't hard to disappear. I disappear from time to time. I just unplug my computer network cable and remove the battery from my cell phone. Then, not even The Man knows where I'm at ... not that I really care here on the farm. It's spring and for all I care The Man can come and take it all, because I'm already worn out and my hands hurt from getting ready for the planting time.

The seventies all over again. When I was a kid I was a runaway. The streets were chock-full of confused, drugged-out maniacs like this. Most likely his parents have got money and after a few more years of "home free" he'll be back in Santa Barbara, tooling around in a Prius and "working" for change. Yawn, another Obamatron.

Actually, that's not this man's backstory at all. No money or handy fallback rich parents in his life. Nothing really.

sad to see his anti-Tea Party comments while lamenting that his friends are under threat from Obama, but the tolerance of the left never extends past their own smell.
