The Solution by Bertolt Brecht

bertolt-brecht-quotes-1.jpg
After the uprising of the 17th June
The Secretary of the Writer's Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts.
Would it not be easier
In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?

Your Say

Well, well, well ... Brecht rediscovered. He was a nasty little Marxist who, unfortunately, could sometimes hit the nail on the head.

I suppose this is the reason the Left doesn't wear his face on their t-shirts.
