Position Open Near Rome Maine

After 27 years of burglaries, Maine's 'North Pond Hermit' is arrested: He built a hut on a slope in the woods, where he spent his days reading books and meditating. There he lived, re-entering civilization only to steal supplies from camps under the cover of darkness. During those nearly three decades, he spoke just once to another person – until he was arrested during a burglary last week.

Your Say

I wonder how many pairs of glasses he took with him into the woods 27 years ago? Perhaps they are just drugstore off-the-shelf reading glasses.

If he managed to keep the same pair for 27 years, I take my hat off to him. I break my specs all the time.
