13 Worst Predictions Made on Earth Day, 1970

13. "The world has been chilling sharply for about twenty years. If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder in the year 2000. This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age." — Kenneth Watt | FreedomWorks

Notice how often the weasel phrase "...if the present trend continues..." Is used in these dire predictions. Negative trends are recognized and changed by rational people.

Greenland is melting- and faster than anybody thought. Most of the melted ice seems to have gone up in clouds and caused our excessive rain and snow activity, (including the "SANDY HURRICANE. The Earth's wobbly rotation, probably caused by the SOLAR FLARES AND THE OVAL NATURE OF ITS ORBIT COULD BE CAUSING THESE INTERMITTENT WEATHER CHANGES. We have had frequent solar flare storms in the last few years and we can't dismiss their effects on our weather out- of-hand. You take your pick and I will do mine! There are excessive earthquake activity east of Greenland. Can numerous earthquakes under the ice be detected- and could they be the reason for the accelerated ice melt? Is anybody watching this "store"? BYE
