SubOptimal

It could be argued the evening of Feb. 22 held promise for a Port St. Lucie man.

The 23-year-old man told Fort Pierce police he had about $900 in his wallet. He'd checked into aļ£°motel in the 3200 block of South U.S. 1 with a couple of ladies. Alcoholic beverages were involved. The man said that after the "events of the evening," he and the two women fell asleep, according to a recently released Fort Pierce police report. The next morning when he awoke, the situation appeared less than optimal. -- Off the Beat with Will Greenlee
