"Half of all marriages end in divorce."

Yes, stupid, everyone says that, half of all marriages under 25 end in divorce,

but wait till thirty and the deck is way more favorable, you have to learn how to count cards. But this isn't some kind of failing of marriage itself, some structural defect in a system that's been running for thousands of years, the problem isn't marriage, the problem is you. -- The Last Psychiatrist: Don't Hate Her Because She's Successful

Your Say

Half of all divorce ends in marriage. Or whatever.

... and as some wag put it in response: "Yes, many marriages end in divorce and the rest end in death."

Of course, most of those divorces are repeat offenders: more than one divorce, which skews the average. Take 8 marriages, 2 people there got divorced 3 times each, and you have 6 divorces out of 12 marriages... its 50%! Except, 6 of those people didn't get a divorce and only 2 did.
