$2.7M Federal Study: Why Do Lesbians Have Higher 'Risk for Hazardous Drinking'? The study is being led by Tonda Hughes,
professor at the Department of Health Systems Science at the University of Illinois, an “internationally recognized expert in the area of alcohol use among lesbians.” The NIH also is funding a study to examine why “three-quarters” of lesbians are obese, spending a total of $1.5 million on that research.A recognized "expert" in alcohol use among lesbians? I wonder how you get started in that line of "expertise."

Why the frick and frack are we getting our pockets picked so government tit-suckers can do this kind of worthless nonsense? Of what value is this to anyone other than the grantees who need to pay their student loans?
It's the 21st Century equivalent of the Soviets paying all those street sweepers. Hah! In Russia we have full employment. Only in capitalist countries are people out of work. Instead of "they pretend to pay us, and we pretend to work", it's "they take our money and give it to their friends, and we pretend it's not theft".

I have no data to support this but I suspect from casual observation and reading that homosexuals in general are very screwed up people in their personal lives and that takes shape in a lot of physical problems.
I am sure people can point to wonderfully adjusted, healthy homosexuals - at least at present. But I doubt there are many, and they would be the stark exception.

Well yes. There's a blog post in this but the critical difference between the success of the left's activism and popular influence and the right's is that the left is willing to take money from others and just throw it at what they believe in regardless of expense or earnings, and the right isn't. The left does so through government funding so they don't have to make a profit - indeed, its to their advantage to lose money.
Its why the Huffington post is so effective and still around despite losing money every single day of its existence and paying almost none of its writers. Meanwhile right leaning efforts to counter this fail because they expect to make a profit and make it on their own instead of off the government and private donor teat.

These "studies" have no purpose other than to shovel trailer loads of cash into mediocre universities in mediocre cities as that is the only viable cash inflow that these cities have available. As usual the only good paying jobs are government provided jobs. Disfunctional cities mandated free shit by dysfunctional politicians.
