He did not steal that! He was restoring el patrinomio del pais from the evil capitalizsts who had stolen it from el pueblo y el nacion de Venezuela. It was for the good of the country, y por la causa y la revolucion. In order to secure the revolution for the people, el caudillo always needs a free hand and lots of resources to protect and defend the nation from all its internal and external enemies.

It's also pretty much chump change compared to the U.S. Heck, Our Usurper spends that much every year on his palace, retainers, and royal barges with all their attendants.

And that's like saying Stalin made sure everybody who did't opposes the Soviet system had a job.

Before Chavez, Venezuela was a healthy, thriving nation. Now it's in ruins. Ruins. There can be no excuses, no exculpations. That b*****d caudillo ruined that country, and everyone who lives there should make a pilgrimage once a year to piss on his grave, and whip themselves in shame and penance for their part in the whole sordid outcome.

When oh when are the South Americans going to wise up and throw off forever this five century tradition of b*****d caudillos ruining them all?
