“Damn Near a Third” of the Budget

“Now you’ve got a budget of three and a half trillion dollars in this fiscal year. This will take $85 billion out of it. That’s damn near a third....You can’t take 30, you can’t take 30 percent of operational money out and expect to have the same product. You can’t do it! It’s impossible!” — Radio host and MSNBC anchor Ed Schultz on his February 25 radio show.

I may not be a mathematician, but I do know that a Trillion is a thousand Billions. Okay, I had to look it up. But Schultz needs to take a long walk off a short pier, or quit TV. He gets no excuse from me for his idiocy.

"What budget?" Indeed.

As Khrushchev admitted, economics is a subject that does not greatly respect one's wishes. Schulz hasn't risen to the level of understanding of a dead communist.

' Most leasing companies have tie-ups with good garage and maintenance services and these benefits are passed on to the customer. You may also be charged at the end of your lease for excessive mileage, damages, and unusual wear-and-tear.
