The Thirty Years War Redux [Bumped]

JanetMask.jpg

DHS Purchases 21.6 Million More Rounds of Ammunition An approximation of how many rounds of ammunition the DHS has now secured over the last 10 months stands at around 1.625 billion.

To put that in perspective, during the height of active battle operations in Iraq, US soldiers used 5.5 million rounds of ammunition a month. Extrapolating the figures, the DHS has purchased enough bullets over the last 10 months to wage a full scale war for almost 30 years.

Your Say

That works out to about 7 rounds per person. They must think we will be hard to hit.

I keep saying this and people keep poo pooing it, but this is the most effective way to choke off ammunition supply and drive prices up: buy up all the ammo. Napolitano has made it very clear she considers patriots and white Americans a threat to national security, so its natural for her to disarm them.

In Nam the ammo rate was 200,000 rounds per enemy kill. If the DHS has purchased approximately 1 billion rounds in the past 12 months approximately 5000 American citizens are at risk of being shot and killed by these goons. And yes, they are goons friends.

Interesting thought Christopher.

What is the nefarious purpose behind these enormous purchases? We must remember who we are talking about:

So not only is the DHS stockpiling decades of war's worth of ammunition - which means literally centuries of DHS usage - it's doing so through front companies that come into and presumably disappear once the checks have been written. The real questions here are who owns or controls Evian Group and what is his/their connection to the Democrat party?

Again the question, Why is DHS buying all this ammo? It is to transfer enormous sums of money to politically-connected or -useful individuals. In other words, the massive purchases are just old fashioned, money laundering graft and corruption. It sure would be useful to know how much Evian was paid for the ammo, because my guess is that Evian's controllers are buying the ammo from manufacturers at discount, then marking it up at least 40 percent to sell it to DHS.

What ultimately happens to that 40 percent markup? It goes two places: the bank accounts of Evian's controllers get half and the other half is funneled through shell-corp non-profits and foundations, finally to the Democrat National Committee and Democrat campaigns and causes.

My question here concerns intent. Does DHS just intend to buy up all the ammo and drive prices out of range of the average American? In that case, just keeping it hidden in some Lost Ark-style warehouse would be sufficient. But if they plan to issue it, I foresee problems. The military knows how to get ammo to the troops, they've been doing it for 230+ years. DHS, which has thus far proven incapable of finding its ass with both hands and flashlight, doesn't have that experience. And that's a lot of bullets to hand out.

I see a billion and a half Barney Fifes.

So...... Maybe the next move for DHS, since they can't easily outlaw guns, will be to forbid further manufacture of ammo in the U.S. and forbid import of the same.

Oh I think Christopher Taylor is bang on the mark. Can I still say bang?

Oh, to have some whistle-blower leak the info of just where those warehouses are and what the distribution blueprints have mapped out?

It's our ammo, we've paid for it!

Not that I'm a fan of .40 S&W, but hey, if the price is right?

Good the warehouses will be full of ammunition when the rebels break in to steal it.

I agree.

The primary reason is graft, pure and simple. But pricing out troublesome citizens is pretty tasty gravy for the Regime, too.

Witness and wonder, oh subjects - an administration policy that accomplishes its objectives!

Treasure this moment.

Oh you people really need to look at the big picture, and not get all focused on just this ONE issue, and realize that elections don't matter, and it doesn't make any difference who is in office.... RIGHT, Potsie? AMIRIGHT??

After all, according to Potsie, since the two parties are ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL, Romney's head of Homeland Security, would also be buying up 22 more million rounds of ammo right now, JUST LIKE Obama's is.

Potsie has shown me the LIGHT!

The problem with this is that at some point hijacking and armory robberies become economically feasible. That's not a threat or a suggestion, just an observation.
