DHS buys 2 billion rounds of ammunition. Military drone flights within the US. FBI "checking" whether the president can assassinate Americans inside the US. Gunships over Miami. Police departments throughout the country are receiving tanks, humvees and drones. Details at Doug Ross @ Journal

I know, if the military calls U.S. citizens "enemy combatants" before they shoot them conservatives will be okay with it.

What the Feds might like to do and what they are capable of doing are two different things. Anybody who has ever worked with or around the Federal government is impressed by the difficulty it has accomplishing even the simplest tasks. It is full, and this includes the military, of joke people who are mostly there to draw a check. And, suddenly this is all going to be transformed into a well-oiled, fell machine of repression?

Comparing the jumped-up little monkey in the White House to Hitler is REALLY a stretch.
