Humans differ little from dogs.
Consider a man working with an intelligence agency in Washington.
He may be a sterling fellow, good father, never kick the dog or molest the neighbor’s children, doesn’t shoplift, and in general is a good citizen. Tell him to do the satellite reconnaissance for the bombing of Baghdad and he will do it without a trace of conscience—even though he knows the bombing will kill thousands of innocent people. He may speak of duty, patriotism, and any of various sorts of routine high principle. No, it is just the psychology of the pack, us agin’ them. Just how *stupid* is this "Fred"? Read further:

Is he ignorant of history, of the Quran, or both?

What rotten luck for those nice Muslims. There they were minding their business when nobody from nowhere blew up some truck bombs, a boat bomb, and hijacked airliners to kill Americans. Then from out of the blue nobody from nowhere refused to turn over the leader of the nobodies from nowhere that launched these attacks and a war accidentally broke out.

Actually, ol' Fred's got it 'xactly bass-ackwards.
It's the Muzzies, most of whom have never met a Westerner, a Free Man or Woman, a non-tyrannical government, an enlightened education based on the Western Canon, nor any other manner of post 7th century advancements.
It's the Muzzies who, lacking all of the above, fear the "other", and riot to wage war on we, the Infidel, merely on the say so of their mullahs.
Fred ain't the only one 'round here who knows Muslims aplenty. I know many of them that I even LIKE, and like to do business with.
But, I don't trust a one of 'em if the Muzzie population grows to greater than 5%, 8% or above. Then they start agitating for change, change towards a Muzzie culture, Sharia law and the like.
Happens everywhere they go, every time they populate to those percentages.
Fred's local knowledge doesn't translate to global experience over time.

Aw, this was a seriously nice post. In concept I would like to put in writing like this additionally - taking time and actual effort to create a especially superb article?- but what can I say?- I procrastinate alot and by no means seem to obtain something done.
