Right next to the vending machine with the Baby Ruths and Fritos

Company wants to introduce marijuana vending machines to Washington KING 5 reports the machines are already being used in some states
where medicinal marijuana is legal. The machines require patients to scan a fingerprint that then links them to an on-file prescription for medical marijuana.
[Because nothing is smarter than having your name and fingerprints on file with the government as a drug user, right? Right.]

Your Say

Because nothing is smarter than having your name and fingerprints on file with the government as a drug user, right? Right.

And therewith the very centerpiece of the "Libertarian" agenda on drugs.....

This helps to illustrate my point that "legalizing" illicit drugs WILL NOT end the illegal drug trade. Government will insist on regulating and controlling the newly-legal drug market to such a degree that there will be plenty of customers left for the "unsupervised" stuff.

There is a black market for everything. You can buy TVs cheaper on the black market than you can legally. You can buy cigarettes (GASP!) and gas cheaper without tax from the Indian casino.

What is your point? Things still move along if the government is involved or not.

Gun control wont stop guns, government regulation wont stop crime. The big government big spending wasted on the war on drugs didn't stop drugs, and government regulation didn't stop drugs. It does waste tax-payer money.

Statists like funding the war on drugs because like tougher gun laws it makes them feel safer at the hands of government.

Abortion could not be legally prevented because emanations from a penumbra in the Constitution said such 'medical' decisions are 'private.'

Yet, thanks to governmental overreach through things like the war on drugs and Obamacare, nothing else 'medical' will ever be truly private again.

Bison are not the smartest animals on the planet, but even they know that the quickest way out of a storm is to walk straight into the teeth of it.

Faster please.
