Your Say

Gerard,

I know the poster isn't yours. And I take exception to an image of Uncle Sam holding a gun at me. I see him as an icon of what is good and right about our country - the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights.

Now, dress a donkey or Obama up as Uncle Sam and use that instead, and it's spot on.

The saddest part about this day (MLK Day) is that the foundation of his "Dream" (that we should be judged by the content of our character rather than the color of our skin) has proven to be a lie.
Obama did nothing of substance that could've earned him a shot at being President of the United States, and truly, much of what has been revealed of his "character" is quite odious.
He is being sworn into office again due to the color of his skin, and of all things, 98% of voting-eligible blacks voted for him, even after the devastation they've suffered under his economy.
Tell me about how he was voted in due to character, or his results...
"Affirmative action", race-based college admissions, the Congressional Black Caucus...
I guess if you're "white" you are supposed to judge on character, but for everyone else, the standard is quite visible.
