It was a puke fest. It was unlike anything I've ever seen. It was right out of a banana republic. [Bumped]

Hillary said, "What difference does it make? What difference, at this point, does it make?"
Exactly right, but what difference does any of it make? What difference does it make that 50 million Americans are on food stamps? What difference does it make that the president's acceptance speech, his inaugural address, was perhaps one of the most partisan and divisive speeches in American presidential history? What difference does it make? Exactly right. After all this time, what difference it make? .... Do you realize just this week her campaign debt was paid off? Do you think there's any coincidence in the fact that her campaign debt was paid off and her appearance before the joint committee today to talk about the guy in Benghazi? -- The Cleansing of Mrs. Clinton's Record Rush Limbaugh

Puke-fest. Bravo. AD is a first stop so I broke out of the lurking closet to say... BARF.
Well said!

Hey, relax. Without Arthur we'd have no one around to demonstrate obamallatio.

Regulars to Mr. Vanderluen's know I am not the cheeriest of folks.

But today was the day it all became perfectly clear.

Once, in fourth grade, I found myself assigned to one of three teams competing in some sort of teaching exercise. I was put there by the substitute teacher. What was the point of the exercise faded from memory decades ago but the memory of having been consigned to the cabal of test cheaters, teacher's pets, and playground losers is as fresh today as it was then.

I watched about five minutes of The Secretary's testimony at lunch today - which ended lunch - and realized that today we are ALL on the losing team. From here out, no matter how pointless, tragic, or calamitous the future may be, we all know the caliber of person our Betters have decided to hold up as our leaders.

We're .... a coarse anglo saxon word I generally don't use in other folks' living rooms. But we are. Hard and dry.

Mr. Vanderluen, It's too bad you are not more cheerful, you have every reason to be. You have been given a great gift. Life; after you were near death. You bring great joy to all who read you blog (it is much more than that, it makes us think). There are many of us out here who will not give up with out a fight. Remember this, when all seems lost one will be there to pray to God and he will hear that prayer. Molon Labe.

Yeah, I just saw some of the worst of it on the late local news. I have never seen anything like it. If it were an SNL parody, not that they parody Democrats, you wouldn't laugh because it is too over the top.

I can agree with Geoff that I'll try to get as many of them as they get of me. And I will certainly pray. Only I'm thinking I may just pray for the hammer to fall. There's no excuse for this.

Hillary Clinton is a lying slag. And a piece of work. Same as she ever was.

Posted by: Rich Fader at January 24, 2013 12:38 AM

He's right, what difference does it make? None, really. There's no stopping them, the Democrat choice for president isn't a nominee or an option, its just a coronation for the successor. Their abilities, their appearance, their past, their behavior and ideas are all irrelevant. If its Clinton, she wins. The machine is in place, not just in big cities or states, but nationally now.

"Hey, relax. Without Arthur we'd have no one around to demonstrate obamallatio"

Having voted in every national election (state & local as well) since 1972 I'd have to say that Barrack Obama is my favorite Republican President.

The paranoia, vitriol and bile directed at the MOR Obama, particularly at American Digest where a sort of Norman Rockwell meets Robert Welch by way of Manifest Destiny mixture flavors the dialogue, is a wonder to behold. I've always been interested in red-baiting. Particularly here in my home town...

Keep up the work!

Anonymous, that is funny you say that, I guess that further proves there is no difference between the two parties anymore. Romney was no different than John Kerry, except the people that like or disliked them switched sides.
The Bush family with their socialist leanings grew government, spent like crazy, Bush Jr. set the date for the final shuttle launch and killed the light bulb, took away liberties with the TSA and Patriot Act yet republicans seem to like him. Obama is Bush's third and now forth term.
Reagan was a former union leader who increased the size of government, spent like crazy at both the state and federal levels. He stomped on state's rights all while saying quotes about limited government. The republicans remembered his quotes but not his actions.

Republicans are red
Democrats are blue,
neither party
gives a $#!+ about you.

I recall the pictures of young Hillary looking like a disheveled crazy leftie. They cleaned up her image when Bill's star was rising. Now she looks like a crazy disheveled old leftie, a red adult diaper baby. Maybe it will be the end of the telegenic candidate age in 2016 if we get the old hag running against the New Jersey lardass.

Posted by: bill at January 24, 2013 1:54 PM

You say that, Bill, as though it were very difficult to admit.

Posted by: Jewel at January 24, 2013 2:57 PM

Bill, twisting someone's name always makes the person doing it look foolish, you know what I mean Jill Bones.... woa, that was sooo funny... what I did with your name, how clever of me!

Posted by: Potsie at January 25, 2013 7:34 AM

Do I agree that Hillary is a stupid cow? She is smarter than the people that support her. She didn't get into that position being an idiot. She has that position because she is a corrupt power hungry person, but not because she is stupid

Good answer Potsie, and thank you.

Wanna bet that Hillary had a stroke. She looks like someone who flopped around on a gurney.

Posted by: Peccable at January 26, 2013 5:25 AM

...That's just horrible Peccable.
