(perjured himself) before Congress about atrocities committed by American troops in Vietnam. This man whose organization voted on whether to assassinate Republican hawks in the Senate!! This man who in violation of the law conducted his own "peace talks: with the North Vietnamese, and later with Nicaragua's Sandinista government; both acts that should have landed him in prison. This man who threw his (unearned) medals away in a public display, and later admitted they were someone else's medals. -- Curmudgeonly & Skeptical

"This man who lied to Congress by claiming that American troops in Vietnam committed atrocities, that they did not in fact commit."
