Earth to Obama Suckers: Shut Up and Get Ready to Bleed

Folks freak at size of tax hikes if fiscal cliff isn’t averted - NYPOST.com “It’s that much higher?” asked IT worker Vikas Kataria, 34,
who discovered that his combined household income of about $250,000 per year will cost him nearly $10,000 more in taxes. “I thought it was a couple thousand — but that’s a lot,” said Kataria, who works at Merrill Lynch in Manhattan and is married to a systems analyst for a brokerage firm. “That’s huge!”
[Hey, they wanted the feeling of Obama's third biggest lie being broken and now here it comes.]

That is what voted for the megalomaniac in the WH. Did the man from NYC vote for Obama?

Yes, thank you GWB and Congress, for the few years of more reasonable tax rates, which you were able to give us. Every dollar taken from citizens through taxation is one dollar less to be spent on shoes or clothing or appliances or any of the myriad other things that keep our economy functioning. Taxation is the government's way of telling you that they know what you need better than you do. "Tax the rich" schemes, by the most optimistic estimates, will raise approximately $35 billion per year at a time when our government is spending $1,500 billion per year more than it takes in. The "tax the rich" plan was never to balance the budget, but to keep the nation divided for political gain, at which it was successful. Pray for America.

We are 16 trillion in debt, we went over the cliff a long time ago.
What we need to do is eliminate payroll deductions and make people pay their taxes in one lump some or on some kind of installment plan. Once people start realizing how much in taxes they pay then things will start to change.
This also goes for union dues, eliminate all forms of payroll deductions.

The chart dramatically understates the actual jump in tax payments because it does not include Alternative Minimum Tax. Over the cliff includes reverting to the non-inflation adjusted AMT. it will bite hardest in high tax states like CA and NY. Have fun guys.

What will also expire is the 99 weeks of unemployment. Bet they didn't see that coming.

Let 'er go. Hell, we'll just go back to the Clinton era. I survived it, and the 60 years before Clinton came along. Maybe when the pols see their goody bag (discretionary spending) shrinking, they will get serious about entitlements.

Elections have consequences.

I can only hope that Obama voters will be hardest hit.
